Render of gray four-wheeled autonomous robot

Paradigm Engineering - IGVC Competition 2023

My role on the Paradigm Engineering Team was a Mechanical Designer. For this extracurricular project, one of my main tasks was creating Matlab/Simulink models of the autonomous vehicle for design and testing purposes. This later led to the design of a skid-steer drivetrain powered by a stepper motor + gearbox arrangement to move the vehicle.

I have worked on various projects through multiple work terms with the company. One project was prototyping a logistical engine using predictive analytics with the primary purpose of operating cost and fuel emission reduction for tankers. This required statistical analysis using probability density functions and multi-variable regression with Python, Postgre SQL, and Microsoft Excel. I have developed multiple tools for data science and automation of analysis work in OrcaFlex. Some of my recent projects include leveraging the power of Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Large Language Models to improve efficiency.
